I don’t have a classroom full of kids but I know at home this evening I will be showing my 5th grader wordnik.com. Yes, I probably could have found that site on my own but sometimes its nice when someone else recommends a site to you. Thank you Linda!

I am glad to work in a school district where technology is valued, celebrated and shared! Yesterday was a great day and I was glad to be a part of it.
ReplyDeleteTeachers at my school, (AMS), are buzzing about voice thread, wordle and blogs to name a few. I am excited to be in the midst of this incredible time of teaching our "digital natives" aka our students! Thanks again.
I thought the day was great! I was very excited to see everyone buzzing about they were seeing and ideas they had. We are so lucky to have access to great technology as our students learning curve is out pacing our own! We need to keep up. Days like this will help the creative juices to flow for teachers. We need to share our best practices and not hide our greatness within the walls of our own rooms.

I think it was energizing and stimulating for us to share ideas and new technology. I think it would be wonderful if we could do something like this every few years.
